Meet Charlene

A woman with short, curly, blonde-tinted hair, wearing hoop earrings and a black sleeveless top, poses against a teal background.

Charlene Chinn founded FORMA Strategy Group after more than a decade doing the actual work of hiring — building recruiting processes, running full-cycle searches, setting up ATS systems, designing interview frameworks, and helping organizations figure out how to hire well.

That experience spans professional services, legal, and technology environments — places where hiring decisions carry real weight, processes are expected to hold up under scrutiny, and there's no room for a disorganized search.

She started FORMA because that same discipline — the structured process, the clear evaluation criteria, the documented system — is exactly what small and growing organizations need and almost never have.

INTRODUCING FORMA…

Most firms, agencies, nonprofits, and growing businesses reach a hiring moment without a hiring process.

They've built something real. The team has grown. Revenue is there. But the internal infrastructure for bringing on the next person — how the role gets defined, how candidates get evaluated, how a new hire gets set up to actually succeed — hasn't been built yet. So every search is reinvented from scratch. Every hire is a gut call. And every onboarding is improvised.

That gap is where FORMA works.

Not as a staffing agency. Not as a fractional HR director making strategic workforce decisions. As the person who comes in, assesses where your process is breaking down, builds what's missing, and hands off a system your team can run without needing to hire around it.
